Project 52 | Fragile | Week 5

52:5

motherhood is

fragile

and precious,

and sometimes much too fleeting.

This was a hard week around here.

Our sweet 'Duckie' was due on Wednesday. And all week we have been facing the dreams and thoughts of how our lives should be right now. But instead of sleepless nights rocking a newborn, we lie awake grieving the loss of Job.

I wasn't sure I wanted to share this picture on here, it just seems so very personal. But I know our family will appreciate this at the very least. After a lot of thought and debate and prayer and searching, Hubby and I found the perfect urn.

I don't have any more words right now, but I can only imagine the beauty of heaven and I rest in the hope and love of my Lord.

I can’t imagine heaven’s lullabies

and what they must sound like

But I will rest in knowing, heaven is your home

And it’s all you’ll ever know…

((HUGS)) It's very hard to lose a baby. We lost our daughter Abigail Jan 2010. I hope you can find some comfort though all the sadness right now. Just know someone's walked in those shoes with you. Hang in there. And it's a beautiful picture, thanks for sharing it.

This was a beautiful post. I continuing praying for you and your family! I actually thought of you especially today when my friend needed to talk after loosing her pregnancy at 12 weeks. I shared a little bit of your story and your amazing faith and it helped her. You're not alone and you are soooo loved!
