Motherhood is
creative.
Because even if you aren't; all kids are naturally creative and curious.
Somewhere along the way we lose that.
Until we become parents.
And then we remember that a big box can entertain for days!
Jarvis is full-on into imaginative play right now. We are loving 'caves' and boxes and pretending. He's talking like crazy, and it's SO much fun to hear him pretend playing, fixing food, interacting all the barn animals, racing his cars.
It's such a good reminder to me that creativity doesn't have to be some complicated project, but that for him, even the smallest things are creative. So here's to using our imaginations a little more this week!
