This is our last weekend as a family of 3. Monday, we head to the hospital to bring home TWO new babies. Things are going to change, forever. And while it will be good, and worth every bit of adjustment... this sweet boy has no idea whats headed his way. Over the past couple of weeks, we have been trying to make a point to do extra special things with him and just soak up as much one-on-one time as possible. I know it will be important to keep up after the babies come too.

Normally, this boy is all Daddy's. Maybe it's because I stay home with him and he gets bored with me, lol, or maybe it's just because he has an awesome daddy. With Gammie here the past week, he had been all about Gammie helping him. Until the past 2 days- now, it's all Mommy. I think he senses things are changing, that Mommy is about to get super busy. So for now, I am loving all the mommy requests and snuggles.

So excited for you, Chelsea!! :-) I confess that I've been blog-stalking for you several months now, after finding you through Shawna's blog, but I'm terrible at leaving comments. I usually get in a hurry and then forget! So, hi & nice to "meet" you! lol! :-) I, too, am a Christian and I've been praying for you and for your sweet babes to have a smooth & uncomplicated delivery/c-section. Can't wait to see their sweet faces! :-)

Im all choked up here thinking about just HOW MUCH things will change for you.... the good and the hard (not bad, just hard). I remember those last moments before a new baby was born and thinking "oh my gosh, it will never be this way again...." and it just felt so WEIRD. And of course I always had a panicked feeling about the child/children already here and how they would feel and where they would naturally fit in.

The good news, it just works. On its own. They all fit, and even though these moments now are so precious, they get even MORE precious with new additions.

xoxo

OMG only a few more days! February 6th sounds like a great birthday! My Project 52 this week was about our “fur-babies” being a part of our family and motherhood. Thanks for another great week linking up!
